Overview

The Font tab controls the font, or typeface, the Editor will use to display your files. The default font is Courier New, 12 point, plain.  Courier is a non-proportional font, which means every letter is the same width, like on a typewriter.   This kind of font is generally used whenever you want elements of a text file to line up, like in a source code file or in the output from a computer program.  The font can be changed simply by selecting a new typeface in the pull-down menu called Font Name.  The size the font is displayed in is also configurable, as is the style.  You can use any combination of font, size and style that you have available in Windows.  The font configuration is also used for printing.
