Activating the Telnet Services

  1. Click on the Windows Start button start.jpg (1120 bytes) and activate Windows Control Panel
     
  2. Open Administrative Tools
       wpe13.jpg (1804 bytes)
     
  3. Open Telnet Server Administration within the Adminstrative Tools
      wpe13.jpg (1895 bytes)

    Note: 
    Please consult with your system administration to install the Internet Information Services if the Telnet Server Administration icon is not found in the Administrative Tools.
     
  4. Select Display / change registry settings (option number 3)

  5. Select NTLM
      wpe15.jpg (28058 bytes)
     
  6. Enter 'y' to change value
     
  7. Change value to '0'
      wpe16.jpg (29671 bytes)
     
  8. Exit back to main Telnet menu
     
  9. Start the service (option number 4)
