Executing an Ad-Hoc Query

Once connected to the selected database, you can left click to drill down and select a table and then left click again to drill down and display the structure (i.e., the columns) of the selected table as shown in the screen shot below.

Click on the SQL Script tab to submit ad-hoc queries to the connected database.

Type your query, using the left panel as reference for column and table names, and click the Execute button. The results will be shown in the lower right panel as shown below. Select the Template Manager icon from the toolbar to get help with SQL syntax.
