OverviewClicking on the Database Manager button on the Navigation Panel will activate the Database Manager's main screen showing a listing of supported database type (i.e., IBM DB2, Oracle, Access, MS SQL, etc.) as shown in the screen shot below. You can use the left mouse button to select and drill down to a particular database type to view a listing of all available ODBC database connections for the selected database type. The Database Manager reads the ODBC Registry on the local workstation and retrieves the listing of all available ODBC database connections (for the selected database type) that have been configured using the Windows' ODBC Data Source Administrator tool. The Windows' ODBC Data Source Administrator tool can be found in the Windows Control Panel. The toolbar also has a short-cut to the ODBC Administrator . To drill down, simply point and click on the + sign next to a database type. Once expanded, a listing of all available databases (represented by the blue drums ) will be displayed as shown in the following screen shot, you can then use "Point and Click" to navigate from one database to another or use the right panel to enter the appropriate login information and connect to the selected database.
