Connecting to a Database

While in the Database Manager database listing, you can use the left mouse button to drill down to a particular database type to view a listing of all available ODBC database connections for the selected database type. To drill down, simply point and click on the + sign next to a database type. Once expanded, a listing of all available database will be displayed as shown in the following screen shot, you can then use "Point and Click" to navigate from one database to another.

To connect to a particular database:

Select the database by clicking on the icon that represents the database.
Enter the login information (i.e., User ID, Password and Host Name). If the login information is pre-configured in the Window's ODBC Data Source Administrator, then all you need to do is to click the Connect button without entering the login information.

Once connected to the selected database, you can left-click to drill down to display the structure of the selected database as shown in the screen shot below.
